Sunn hemp is the last non-genetically modified super source of protein. It offers a superior product that is very lean but not short on taste.
It is currently illegal to feed industrial hemp to animals and sell the meat for human consumption. The sunn hemp plant, however, is legal on both fronts and also has an excellent nutrient profile like that of industrial hemp, including its very high source of protein. Surprisingly, it has only recently been researched and approved as forage for cattle.
